COACHING DETAIL
PTE Coaching
The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a computer-based language proficiency test designed to assess the English language skills of non-native speakers. It is widely accepted by universities, colleges, and governments around the world as proof of English language proficiency for academic and immigration purposes. PTE is developed and administered by Pearson, a renowned educational company.
Two Versions of PTE Exam
There are two main versions of the IELTS exam: the Academic module and the General Training module. The choice between these modules depends on the purpose for which you are taking the test.
-
PTE Academic
This is the most common version of the exam and is primarily used for academic purposes, such as applying to universities and colleges in English-speaking countries. The test evaluates listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. It is delivered entirely on a computer, and the speaking and writing sections are recorded and later assessed by human raters.
-
PTE General
This version of the exam is designed to measure general English language proficiency. It assesses the candidate's ability to use English in everyday situations, such as for work or travel. PTE General consists of two main sections: a written paper and a spoken test. The written paper includes listening, reading, and writing components, while the spoken test evaluates speaking and listening skills.
